NEARBY ATTRACTION 1 - SUVARNODYANAM BIOLOGICAL ECOTOURISM PARK | Ernakulam | Tourism Kerala
An ecotourism park located near Nedumbassery
at Ernakulam, Suvarnodyanam offers a
variety of leisure zones for the visitors. The
place has a butterfly park, fern house, orchidarium
and cacti garden and also some of the flora and fauna of
the State. A spice garden, medicinal plant garden and palm
and bamboo houses is also there. The park has an interpretation
centre, Salim Ali Nature Study Hall, provisions for trekking

Dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathy, Thiruvairanikulam Mahadeva Temple situated in Ernakulam district is famed for its unique rituals and traditions. The temple is that here the sreekovil of the Goddess will be open only for 12 days in a year. The festival Nadathurappu Mahothsavam is conducted every year on the Thiruvathira day of Malayalam month Dhanu. (Mid December - Mid January).

NEARBY ATTRACTION 6 - NAGANCHERI MANA PARK | ERNAKULAM
It is a small area adjoining the Iringole temple 3 km from Perumbavoor towards kothaman-galam. It has been developed into a park for kids to play and adults. It is a natural forest. There is a house which belonged to Naganchery Mana Brah-mins family till couple of years back & taken over by Local Gov-ernment to look after it. You can enter this mana and see all the old architecture. It is near to famous Iringole Kavu, forest temple. A good journey in the forest, see the Poojas’ of temple etc can be done in a half day tour.
